Officer Rogers is probably one of the coolest cops ever, although he was fired after this video went viral. No worries, though, he got his job back shortly after.

The video takes place in Montgomery and it shows a Police officer with his Harley-Davidson pulling up to a red light on East Boulevard beside a rider on a red Honda CBR600RR with a helmet camera.

The Honda rider asks if the officer wants to race, and the two of them take off once the light changes. They continue to race through several intersections and over the Interstate 85 bridge.

As for Officer Rogers and his job, according to Riding Mode Police chief Murphy said he will be assigned to administrative duties temporarily, and that he will be given a chance to earn his way back onto the street race!
