Harley-Davidson’s new aggressive Softail is here.  The entire new Softail line comes and eliminates the Dyna family – which many Dyna fans are finding hard to understand. Instead, Harley-Davidson has decided to go with revamping the previous version of the Softail family.

The 2018 Softails represent a whole new breed of Harley-Davidson motorcycles. New chassis, Milwaukee-Eight motors, and also an upgraded suspension that includes a monoshock – these are all the new treats that make the new Softails unique, according to Harley-Davidson.

The new Fat Bob is likely the one with the most remarkable, aggressive design in the new Softail family. It comes with either the 107 or 114 M-8 engines.

The starting price of this beauty is $16,999.

The Fat Bob is surely the sportiest bike in Harley-Davidson’s lineup, but that doesn’t mean I would call it sporty. The suspension is nice and taut (though jarring for me on our short freeway stint), and the cornering clearance is better than on anything else currently available from the brand, but the riding experience reminds me of my first time riding the Sportster Forty-Eight.”
