This March, the Petersen Museum is enriching their motorcycle collection with a special exhibit that shows the “compelling history of competition” Between Harley-Davidson and Indian motorcycles.
The opening reception is set for the 4th of March, and tickets are available online and on spot.
The main focus of the exhibit is going to be the rivalry between the companies in the early 1900s on racetracks and in the streets. Visitors will be taken back in time with photos from historic moments, including original eras of boardtrack, hillclimb and flattrack racing.
Vintage racing and production machines from the turn of the century to the 1950 will be shown as well.
