Seattle police are trying to find a gunman along with a group of riders called the “Bomb Squad Riders” who allegedly attacked an innocent driver this summer.
On August 26 during what’s called the “Bomb Squad Takeover” riders from the whole area (and beyond) came to Seattle to take over the streets. Recently, the detectives have discovered a Go Pro video that clearly shows the assault – and now they’re asking for the public’s help to identify the attackers.
The victim says he saw a large group of riders approaching his truck at high speed, doing wheelies, pulling alongside him and beating on the side of his truck. He then slowed down and called 911, but continued to drive because he was afraid of what the riders might do to him if he stopped.
Once he got to a stoplight, the riders surrounded him, opened his door and started yelling at him. He got a punch in the face and they pulled him out of his truck, kicking him while he was on the ground. At some point, one of the riders pulled a gun to his head and said something like, “This is what you get”.
Other riders started to scatter when they saw the gun and they all rode off, but not before they took his keys.

The Bomb Squad Riders released a statement Wednesday night and they deny any of their members being involved in the accident.
“First and foremost, no members of the BombSquadRiders were involved in this ‘assault case.’ We don’t condone or support any of this behavior. We simply post a date and a location for a ‘flash mob’ style ride. All riders come and ride at their own risk as they would if they were riding on their own, they are also encouraged to ride within the laws and have courtesy for other drivers.
