A man from Hempstead is arrested and accused of riding a motorcycle while high, fleeing from the police and crashing – all the while with his 7-year-old nephew on the back of the motorcycle.

30-year-old Donnell Waters admitted to smoking marijuana before going for a ride.

Officers spotted Waters and the boy riding without proper helmets on and attempted to pull him over, but he fled.

Waters allegedly went 25mph over the speed limit in attempt to flee. He crashed just a few blocks away.

Police say he was carrying 12 small bags of what appears to be crack-cocaine, and a small bag of marijuana.

Waters allegedly admitted to the officers that he smoked 3 blunts earlier that day, but denied using crack.
