A 19-year old called Merrick David Isaacks has been charged with two counts aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second degree felony, Fox7 reports.

According to the Austin Police Department, Isaacks has been arrested and charged for firing a shotgun at a cyclist from a car so he could ‘blow off steam’.

The victim was transported to Dell Seton Medical center and according to medical staff, pallets from the shotgun blast had entered his brain stem.

According to witnesses, Isaacks threatened his victim with a shotgun if he didn’t drive him around after he had already assaulted the victim’s girlfriend.

Isaacks told the witness that he “wanted to shoot or kill someone”.
