Man Uses Popular App To Catch the Thief Who Stole His Motorcycle

A biker who had his motorcycle stolen in July tracked down the alleged thief by using a popular web secondhand marketplace.

The robbed biker called Hartford police on Thursday night to say that he had located his stolen motorcycle.

According to NBC Connecticut, the police say the victim has lured the suspect at a gas station in Hartford using Let Go.

Let Go is a popular website and app for buying and selling secondhand goods.

The thief thought he was meeting a new buyer to sell the stolen motorcycle. Instead, he found police officers waiting for him.

Police said Raekwon Acosta, 21, of Hartford, had three active arrest warrants at the time they took him into custody.
