Javier Fores, World Superbikes rider, was lucky to escape disaster while trying to qualify his Ducati for the race in Spain.

His motorcycle caught on fire which rapidly grew across the bike while he was trying to maneuver around the track.

Fores stayed on his flaming bike for over ten seconds until the fire eventually covered him entirely, which caused him to finally get off the motorcycle.

The rider suffered burn injuries to multiple parts of his body.
