According to Maine State Police, two bikers have died in collision with a pickup truck as they were riding for a charitable cause.

The motorcyclists were taking part in the annual United Bikers Maine Toy Run.  Police say the accident happened after the event.

The motorcycles and the pickup were all headed north. The truck was driving in the passing lane and the bikes in the travel lanes.

State Police say 58 year old Jamie Gross of Belmont died at the scene, and 25 year old Aaron White-Sevigny from Windsor died shortly after arriving at the hospital, WGME reports.
