KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A motorcycle shop from Missouri surprised late police Capt. Dave Melton’s son by restoring his father’s bike and gifting it to him.
Capt. Dave Melton was killed in the line of duty. He loved motorcycles and his son, who is also named David, has the same passion.
David will now have a way always to remember his father and cherish the memory of him – all he needs to do is hop on his newly customized motorcycle and enjoy the ride!
The bike has beautiful and emotional details, making sure David gets a piece of his father to carry on the passion his father cared for so much.
Hellraisers bike shop added some personal touches to the bike, like his father’s badge on the tank, and some little things Capt. Dave Melton used to say to his son, like: To the moon and back, and To my little man.
