The Wildest Hot Rod You’ve Ever Seen

The parking structure at The Petersen Automotive Museum always has really interesting vehicles show up, including this wild horseless carriage based on a real Studebaker carriage.

The entire drive train is located forward of the pivot point. The middle wheels are the drive wheels. Throttle, brake, and steering controls are all hydraulic. The pivot is a ball joint on a tubular control arm with a coil-over shock!

Check it out!
