The Harley Davidson Pan America has been on an extended rollout. This surprise adventure motorcycle has been in the works since 2018. Finally, the legendary Milwaukee company has promised a digital unveiling on February 22nd, 2021. Before the official release, Harley has launched a teaser, giving everyone a glimpse at the new bike.
The launch is set to happen shortly after the global 2019 line-up launch on January 19th. Harley fans will be able to access new models and new redesigns of iconic Harleys like the Low Rider S, Road King, Fat Bob, and Iron 1200.
At that event, attendees will be able to get new info about the new Pan America before its own debut.
Here’s what we already know about the new bike:
- It runs on a brand-new liquid-cooled DOHC 60-degree 1250cc V-twin that also acts as a stressed frame member.
- According to Harley, the engine can generate a whopping 145 horsepower
- It includes an on-board LCD computer, probably with many electronics included
- Rumor has it the Pan America’s seat will be of reasonable height.
With Jason Momoa as the spokesman for the model, Harley-Davidson is carving its own space into the adventure bike market. The company is hoping to lure long-time fans to try some other, edgier kinds of motorcycling.
