Hells Angels Buy a Church and Move into Centereach; Neighbors Not Happy About it

As News 12 Long Island reports, the Suffolk County chapter of the infamous motorcycle club Hells Angels bought a vacant church in Centereach.

Town officials say the motorcycle club bought the abandoned church and installed a big, flashy sign on its new property.

Neighboring residents say they are intimidated by the club’s reputation and they are against the idea of bikers belonging to a residential neighborhood.

A News 12 reporter spoke to a Hells Angles member who said the group intends to use the church as a clubhouse and a worshiping place for their own religion.

Town officials say despite neighbor concerns, they can’t prevent Hells Angels from using the site and moving in, as long as they follow the town codes.
