Last week, a terminally ill man from South Bend named Jon Stanley got his final wish granted: he wanted to hear the roar of motorcycles in front of his house. Hundreds of motorcycles revved their engines outside his house in his honor. Sadly, Jon died just a few hours after that.
Those same bikers took him on his final ride this weekend, to his funeral.
“Jon was a biker. He loved motorcycles. The biker community is a big huge family, we all take care of each other, we all support each other,” said his friend Thomas Baker for News 5.
