Biker Collect Toys For Missoula Kids

Most years Western Montana riders put their bikes away when November hits, but not this local group – they collected thousands of dollars in toys for Missoula children over the weekend.

This is the second year Bikers Against Bullies USA has put on a Toy Run in Missoula, and the weather over the weekend was absolutely perfect for the ride, although cold to begin with.

Gathering in the Krispy Kreme parking lot around 40 riders were bundled up and ready to hit the road. The group spent $5,000 purchasing toys at Walmart, and then Walmart donated an extra $1,000 worth of additional toys.

All of the donations will be distributed to children this Christmas through Watson Children’s Center, as well as Missoula Youth Homes and the Children’s Development Center.
